Stephen C. Reingold, Ph.D., President of Scientific and Clinical Review Associates, LLC, has 35 years of experience in biomedical research and administration. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, a doctorate in neurophysiology from Cornell University and undertook postdoctoral research and teaching at Princeton University. He joined the National Multiple Sclerosis Society staff in 1983 and served for 22 years directing, evaluating and managing the world’s largest private MS research and research training program at a time when the first disease-modifying therapies for MS were developed. He was responsible for nearly $400 million of basic, clinical and applied research expenditures over this time, and served as a communicator and public spokesperson on scientific and clinical issues.
